Nathan Wagoner began his media career as a photographer. He has won numerous awards, exhibited in NYC, Wash. D.C. and Pittsburgh with many publications. He earned an MFA in photography from Academy of Art University and has taught photography and visual art at both Juniata College and Texas State University. As a fine printer in New York City he worked for 220 Print whose client list included Robert Mapplethorpe, Lisette Modell, Larry Clark, and Bruce Davidson.
Nathan has been working primarily in video and film production for 15 years, as a producer and gaffer in the Marketing Dept. at Juniata College where he was involved in every phase of production for both broadcast and web video. Nathan’s team won 5 Telly Awards and a Davey Award for their work as well as significantly impacting marketing, recruitment and fundraising for the college. During that time he also produced two feature length and one short documentary and two short films.
Nathan worked in Austin, TX from 2014-2016 as a freelance gaffer and camera operator. He also worked at Austin Movie Gear handling rentals and support, producing a marketing piece for AMG and teaching Lighting Workshops and two classes (introductory and advanced) on using Da Vinci Resolve for color correction.
Currently he is a freelance gaffer in Minneapolis, MN working on diverse projects from corporate to commercial to independent features and short films.
